In the fall of 2026, we will be opening a Chesterton Academy in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC. Like the more than seventy Chesterton schools operating nationwide, our school will focus on the formation of the whole person – their intellect, character, and faith – and orienting them toward the good, the true, and the beautiful. The curriculum of the Chesterton Schools Network invites students into a centuries-old conversation with great authors, philosophers, artists, and scientists, engaging students in life’s big questions and equipping them to become logical and critical thinkers, clear and articulate writers, and compassionate and principled people. Most importantly, Chesterton schools partner with parents to support and strengthen the morality and spirituality of our young people so they can navigate a confused world without succumbing to its distraction, disillusionment, and despair. Chesterton students are well-formed in the Catholic faith, well-rounded in their academic skills and talents, and joyful, resilient, and optimistic in their outlook.
